In Harmony offer a number of regular Sophrology classes, courses and workshops to help improve and develop your wellbeing. There are regular 6 and 8 week Sophrology courses to join to learn more about this amazing wellbeing, healing and self development practice and various workshops to join, to learn more about yourself, your world and how you create it. 

All of the courses and workshop are being offered online as we navigate through the pandemic, so you can gain all the benefits from the comfort of your own home. All of the sessions will be delivered online using zoom. Zoom is really easy to download and to use. Drop in, Bliss out

Using Sophrology and other meditation, breathing and relaxation techniques we bring a sense of deep relaxation to the body, peace and calm to the mind, and vitality to the whole being. This space is provided each week for you to totally let go, relax and recharge, whilst developing and deepening your meditation practice. No meditation experience is necessary - in fact I will invite you to bring a beginner's mind with you each week.


As we meditate together a group energy is formed, even online, and that helps us to shift into meditation quickly.

A wonderful benefit of doing this class in the evening is that we get a lovely night's sleep. Here are some of the comments from regular participants:

Sophrology for Improved Sleep

I think I may be able to safely say that many of us may have had our sleep disrupted this year with the additional stress the pandemic has had on many people's lives, and a recent report in the news confirmed GP's are now seeing sleep issues reported from patients going from 5% to 20% . I am sure most of us our aware just how critical sleep is to our overall health and wellbeing, and how even having a few nights of disrupted sleep can affect our physical and mental health. 

Sleep issues can come in several different forms from not being able to get off to sleep, to waking in the middle of the night and not being able to get back off, or waking too early. Many different things can affect our sleep, which can include; diet, lack of exercise or too much exercise, worry, our circadian rhythm being out of whack, anxiety and other stressors, the thought we may not get to sleep - perpetuating the issue. 

Sophrology is a gentle and effective way of helping to relax the body and calm the mind, and so prepare us for a restful and peaceful nights sleep. Sophrology has been used for many years to help hundreds of people to sleep better.

In this full day workshop we will:

  • Understand the sleep cycle (the different stages of sleep) and your circadian rhythm (your sleep/wake cycle), and how establishing your circadian rhythm is critical to your wellbeing. 

  • Learn how your sleep environment impacts your ability to sleep deeply and leave with ways to improve it.

  • Explore and understand your own sleep patterns and the reasons you may not be sleeping as well as you would like.  

  • Create your action plan and own ideal bedtime routine.

  • Understand the importance of the concept of 'preparing for a good night's sleep during the day'

  • Develop a good understanding of the fundamentals of Sophrology, the wellbeing framework and practice that will be shared during the workshop as a way to help prepare the mind and body for a good night's sleep without needing too much time. 

  • Take away new insights, knowledge, and motivation, in which to make the changes you need to start sleeping well every night.

In this 6 week course you will learn about the amazing practice of Sophrology and how it can make a real difference to your wellbeing. Sophrology is a mix of Eastern and Western meditation, relaxation and visualisation practice used for improving wellbeing, preparing for future events and for self development. 

Each week you will take away the foundational exercises within Sophrology, be able to confidently integrate them into your home and work life, start to build a daily practice and see and feel the benefits.
